My only problem is with it being called a coupe, but that's just my gripe with BMWs nomenclature. Btw I read catch-22 for the first time this summer and your name is awesome

But if BMW axed the 5 and 3 then they'd be crucified for getting rid of the "proper" normal looking sedans and puttingform over function.

Crucify them for creating the 2-series as the new model range for 1-series 2-doors but then building a FWD 5-door 2-series. I want watever drugs they're on at BMW.

Horrible car? Never. Stupid name? Yes. Makes the"regular" 3 and 5 sedans looks crappy and dull? Yes. Idiotic name? Yes, those aren't coupes just because you sacrificed rear head room for style.

They look great, but something about BMW building two functionally and mechanically identical cars, then charging $25k more for the better looking one, rubs me the wrong way. (m5 vs m6 gc)

It's a stunning car, yes. But I'd still take my crapcan E30 over literally any new BMW
